To be a part of someone's birth moment... that moment where they celebrate a life-giving achievement, through pain, emotions, and the ultimate feeling of what it is to be human. When a feeling of "this was the worst decision" becomes a "best decision" as soon as they lay eyes on their little gift from God. THAT moment is what I love so dearly - the one that makes you remember or experience what it felt like to become a parent (again). So thank you for letting me be a part of your birth story. You have been strong, beautiful parents from the moment you even hoped for a baby. It was inspiring watching you both draw in to each other, sharing the pain and strength the other needed throughout your long labour and recovery. You are one as a couple and now one as a family. Congrats on your beautiful, oh so gloriously curly haired, baby boy!
